Elmore Court Wedding Photography
Sarah & Joe chose Elmore Court because of its grandeur. They also loved the quirkyness of the Gillyflower reception hall. We can’t agree more Elmore Court is a gorgeous Gloucestershire wedding venue. Set in beautiful gardens it is a gift for wedding photography.
The day started with Sarah in the Coach house and then progressed through to the main house with the arrival of the groom and guests. The Hall looked amazing decked out in flowers with a huge wedding arch for Sarah to make her grand entrance. After an emotional ceremony in front of the marble angels the guests spilled out on to the lawn for drinks and canapés.
We were delighted to have been recommended wedding photographers from a friend’s wedding we shot late last year. There’s nothing better than being recommended as it lets us know that we are doing a great job. It’s fantastic to see old wedding clients again and have a little catch up during the day.
In a change from tradition there were parent’s speeches in the main hall before everyone moved over to the Gillyflower for the wedding breakfast. After the meal there were more speeches from the Groom, Best Man, Bride and Maid of Honour. After the meal the party started. There was no formal first dance just plenty of shapes being thrown on the dancefloor.
In the evening pizza was devoured around the fire pits followed by toasting marshmallows. As the sun set over Elmore Court and the lights came on it was time for us to head off into the night.
“Thank you so much for these. There are some absolutely beautiful ones (and some hilarious ones as well). You’ve really captured the mood and spirit of the day. Several people who sadly couldn’t make it said looking at the photos really made them feel like they’d been there.”
