Hi I’m Robin, a lover of exceptional light. Life for me is about creating beautiful images with light, and I simply love weddings, they just make me smile!
I am a documentary wedding photographer based in Dorset, shooting weddings throughout the southwest and wider across the UK and abroad. My approach is primarily documentary, with a hint of creative and fine art thrown in for good measure, to give the perfect balance of incredible images. I work unobtrusively in the background with subtlety, more observation than orchestration. I tell stories with pictures, and each wedding is a complete story of every moment of pure emotion and joy, from start to finish, crafted to make you laugh, cry, and love. A story that remains with you for the rest of your lives. I am yours all day, because the best moments always happen long after most other photographers might have gone, nothing is missed.
I live in Wimborne in Dorset with wife Ruth and our little bundle of fun Milly, Labrador Floss, and a collection of other animals on our farmstead.
Photographing a wedding is a huge responsibility, and one which I treat with meticulous attention to detail. I throw my heart and soul in to everything I do, whether it be running a marathon, or perhaps cooking, where my drive took me to the quarter finals of Masterchef many years ago, but that’s another story!
When not photographing weddings, I am always to be found with camera in hand, exploring the magical surrounding landscape, feeding my creative soul. Communicating what I see to others through pictures is what I live for.
Getting married is simply the most amazing thing you can do, yet it is hard to put all that emotion in to words, which is where I come in! I’d love to hear your story, and talk about working with you. I really believe that getting to know you well as a couple is the most important step to creating amazing photographs, so if you’d like to find out more, please say hello!
