Gloucestershire Wedding Photographer

Ian baker

Hi there, I’m Ian. Thanks for stopping by. I’m a wedding photographer based in the Cotswold market town of Dursley and regularly shoot weddings throughout Gloucestershire as well as further afield. I’ve been photographing weddings for over eight years now and as a former professional singer then marketeer, thrive on looking for that creative angle to make your wedding photographs unique and truly personal.

There really is no greater buzz than receiving a heartfelt “thank you so much” message from someone after their wedding and to know I played a big part in making their day special. I’m naturally a very upbeat and positive person and I like to think this shines through in my work and reflected in the happy, natural and often spontaneous moments I capture. Making you feel comfortable in front of the lens is absolutely at the heart of what I do.

As to my approach, incorporating the beautiful Cotswold backdrops in to my work is something that has come to define my style, and importantly, my couples really love too!

That’s not to say I don’t get up close and personal – some of my favourite moments are when I leap in amongst the dance floor massive and just fire away.

You’ll also not be surprised to hear that wedding rarely run to plan which is why you won’t find me looking at my watch when your first dance runs over (and it will!). Rest assured I’ll be with you until I’m happy knowing I’ve captured everything that was asked of me and of course a little bit more.

We are only skimming the surface here but if you think I may just happen to be the photographer for you, please do get in touch – I’d love to hear from you.

If you fancy having a chat about your wedding plans over a coffee then please do let me know. My local cafe does a fabulous Flat White but of course I’m happy to travel too. Call me on 07974 363191 or just email me. Look forward to it!
